Dellefave Contracting provides specialized marine construction services, including docks, seawalls, boathouses, boat lifts, boardwalks, and waterfront hardscapes—built with durable, marine-grade materials designed to withstand Florida’s waterfront conditions.

Founded in 2018 by Michael Dellefave in Orlando, Florida, the company was built on a foundation of consistency, integrity, and hard work. Due to our commitment to excellence, Dellefave Contracting has earned the trust of contractors, suppliers, counties, and residents throughout Florida.

With a knowledgeable and skilled team, Dellefave Contracting offers fully customizable builds tailored to each waterfront property. In-house welding capabilities allow Michael to custom-fabricate components from a variety of materials, delivering solutions that are both functional and uniquely designed for each project.

WHY IS INSURANCE IMPORTANT?

This is a topic most homeowners don't think about until something goes wrong – a subcontractor falls from a dock and requires medical treatment, a storm damages materials stored on-site, a crane swings into a neighboring boat…

While every contractor strives for a safe job site, accidents can happen. And risk are even higher when work is performed over water or heavy equipment is involved, both relevant factors to marine construction. That's why it's important to hire a contractor who carries proper insurance coverage and works only with insured subcontractors.

Hiring uninsured or underinsured contractors can expose property owners to significant financial risk. In some cases, homeowners may find themselves dealing with lawsuits, property damage claims, medical expenses, or project delays that could have been avoided.

At Dellefave Contracting, we maintain comprehensive insurance coverage for our marine construction operations and require our subcontractors to carry appropriate insurance as well.
