our history
Michael has been building docks, decks, seawalls, and boathouses throughout the Orlando area for over a decade, officially founding Dellefave Contracting in 2015. What began with small, residential dock projects quickly grew into larger, more complex marine construction work—earned through trust, craftsmanship, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations on every job.
Dellefave Contracting has developed a highly efficient operation supported by a specialized, experienced crew and industry-leading equipment. The company utilizes a full fleet of marine and land-based machinery, including a barge, crane, vibratory hammer, jet pump, skid steer, and mini excavator—allowing projects to be completed safely, precisely, and on schedule.
With a knowledgeable and skilled team, Dellefave Contracting offers fully customizable builds tailored to each waterfront property. In-house welding capabilities allow Michael to custom-fabricate components from a variety of materials, delivering solutions that are both functional and uniquely designed for each project.

A: We like to do things right. That means proper licenses, permits, and insurance on every job. Our company has a Certified Building Contractor license and a Certified Underground Utility & Excavation Contractor license. Q: Do you offer free estimates?

Q: How do I know if my seawall or dock needs repair?
A: Signs include cracks, leaning, exposed rebar, or boards pulling loose. Contact us for an inspection if you notice any of these.
Q: Do you install features such as lighting or running water ?

Q: What types of equipment do you use?
A: We utilize a wide range of specialized tools and equipment to adapt to each unique job site and project. Our commonly used equipment includes our self-powered crane barge, mantis hammer, skid steer, mini excavator, track saw, mud mixer, compact truck loader, scuba gear, jet pump.
Q: How do you protect the surrounding ecosystem and waters during construction?
A: We follow best practices to minimize impact on the shoreline and waterways. This includes using silt curtains and turbidity barriers to prevent sediment from spreading into the wate, choosing marine-grade, environmentally safe materials that won’t leach harmful chemicals, scheduling work around sensitive wildlife seasons when required, and securing proper permits before starting.

A: We are located in the Conway area of Orlando, FL and service all over Central Florida.
