neighborhood Boarwalks

featured project:

Hired by Tavistock Developer in St. Cloud, FL, we designed and installed a series of pedestrian boardwalks connecting a trail system between neighborhoods. With two separate boardwalks meandering through natural wetlands, we prioritized environmental conservation and highlighting the natural beauty of this area in a variety of ways. First, we designed paths to run between trees of a significant size

and hand- cut around the smaller trees that intersected the boards. This limited any destruction of vegetation that is home to birds, insects, squirrels, and more. Piles were driven deep into the marsh below, with marine-grade pressure treated yellow pine decking strong enough for trucks to drive over. We drove piles using a water jet, rather than vibratory hammer, to minimize disturbance of the natural area.

was constructed using #1 Prime marine-grade pressure-treated southern yellow pine and stainless steel hardware for maximum longevity and performance. To protect the surrounding natural environment and avoid damage to the narrow access trails leading to the pier, all materials, equipment, tools, debris, and crew members were transported to and from the project site by boat and barge. The result is a revitalized public pier designed to serve the community for many years to come. Stay tuned for final results this July, 2026.

Our Lake Ashby Pier Resurfacing project for Volusia County began with a heavily weathered boardwalk that had reached the end of its service life. From railings and seating areas to decking and deteriorated structural components, our team carefully removed and replaced the pier to create a safe, durable, and attractive waterfront destination for the public to enjoy. Built to withstand years of Florida's harsh environmental conditions—including rain, wind, wave action, UV exposure, and daily pedestrian traffic—the new structure

Conway Dock Renovation

featured project:

This full dock and boathouse renovation features a new dock and boathouse with low voltage LED Lighting, and a floating platform for a double jet ski docking. We installed Moisture Shield Meridian composite decking supplied by Southern Pine Lumber, a marine-grade supplier local to Central Florida. The structure was stripped down to the piles, with all decking

and framing replaced, boat lift re-installed, and metal roof placed overhead. Metal roofing provides a more durable, long-term alternative to shingles. The design features a new stair case leading our client from deck to the shallow lake floor and LED lights controlled by phone with customizable settings. We focused on the most cost-effective, picturesque design.

inlet harbor beach access

featured project:

The County of Volusia hired Dellefave Contracting to build a dune walkover and ADA compliant dune access ramp connecting the parking lot to the beautiful Daytona beach coast. Due to be completed July 2026, this project focuses on accessibility as well as environmental conservation due to its fragile placement over the sand dunes. To limit disturbance,

the project timeline revolved around tortoise nesting season, completing all piles before they needed to lay eggs. We additionally used water jetting to drive piles rather than vibratory hammer so that we had no heavy or loud equipment on the fragile habitat. County projects are a great opportunity for our company to contribute to larger community needs.
